Hey everyone, welcome back to the podcast! If you noticed a slightly different name and logo in your feed today, don't panic—you're exactly where you're supposed to be.
In this quick update episode, we are pulling back the curtain on a massive milestone for the podcast. The last year, we’ve loved diving deep into the eerie, the unexplained, and the hidden histories of the Hawkeye State as the Iowa Shadow Files. - And you may have noticed the channel grew silent for a year. There is an explanation in this episode - and it revolved around a story I was researching...it gave me pause for a little bit.
But after a timeout - we are back - and there was a minor change -
After talking with a few listeners - there was a realization that dark history, urban legends, and strange anomalies don’t care about state lines. The cornfields of Illinois, the woods of Wisconsin, the plains of Nebraska, and the lakes of Minnesota all have their own shadows waiting to be uncovered.
So, we are officially expanding our territory and rebranding as the Midwest Shadow Files!
